Aunt Alana's Dance

Today Lucie and I had a girls day out and went to see my little sister at her dance competition. It was really funny, her first dance Lucie said she wasn't wearing pants. Lucie and I had a blast!! And Alana did sooo good!!! We then went to Toys R Us and Lucie fell asleep on the way and never woke up so she slept in the cart. Then we went back to the competition and Lucie showed me how Alana danced!!

Sledding

Today I went to my brothers house and we all went sledding. It was a lot of fun. Lucie and Ava went down together, and Grant tried to beat the "record" for how far you go but he kept tipping over. It was such a blast!!!

One at a time!

I don't usually write anything with no pic but this was soo funny. We went to the library this afternoon and 5 minutes after we got there Lucie had an accident in her undies, so we left. As soon as we got in the car Lucie started crying because I said we were going home and she wanted to go shopping.
Then Grant asked for a drink-I told him I didn't have one so he started crying(neither had a nap).
Lucie stopped crying and said "Grant stop crying, me crying" and then started crying again. It was so funny, aparently there is a rule that only one child can cry at a time!!

Only when dad is home!

So the kids have been sick this weekend. Lucie on Saturday and Grant started throwing up last night. I slept on the couch with Grant last night and Josh stayed home from work today so I could go to work. I took Grant upstairs when Josh got up and then Lucie woke up so I sent her down. she started to eat a breakfast bar and fell asleep at the table. Josh brought her up to me and she slept until 7:40. Only because dad is home, she never sleeps that late for me. Josh took some really cute pics!!

New Truck

For those of you who don't know, Josh was re-ended 2 weeks ago. They decided to total his truck so he bought a new one. It is a chevy s-10 4 door. The kids love to sit in it!!

Grants late Birthday presents

Grant just got his birthday presents from Josh's family and he had a blast opening them. Lucie also got a fairy "pretty" kit, which she loved. their all time favorite must be the marshmallow guns, you put marshmallows in them and blow them out. They are a blast.

Family Vacation!

We have had a vacation planned to go to Wisconsin Dells for a while now. We just went this week and it was soo fun. Gratn loves waterslides, and playing in the water, Lucie likes it for a little but gets cold after a while. We went to a resort that has an indoor play area, and two arcades-so we had alots of stuff to do. They had duck races, where they would put little plastic ducks in the lazy river and they would race, then the kids got to take their ducks home-it was a blast. We took Grant bowling for his birthday-probably a mistake because Lucie doesn't have an incredibly long attention span. Good thing the bowling alley was empty because she was dancing ALL over. My brother brought his little girl Ava up to play with us on the last day. They had a lot of fun, but Ava who is a little smaller then Lucie got cold quick as well. We had soo much fun, but it is nice to be back home.
