Memorial Day

Today for Memorial Day I took the kids to the parade. Lucie refused to wear her cute red and blue outfit and instead dressed herself. Grant looked very cool in his sunglasses!



We went to my brothers house in the afternoon for a bbq and they bought their little girl a "jumper" but this was our first really hot day and they didn't want to jump. We got out the sprinkler and they loved running through it.




After the sprinkler they decided they would do the jumper-which turned out to be very fun for them!!




Tabatha(my brothers girlfriend) then decided the kids would love a little pool, so she went to the store and bought a pool, which was their favorite thing to do!!!



You can't have a summer holiday without a popsicle!!

Sunday Morning

Last Week for Lucie's birthday my mom made her and her baby a matching dress, she finally got to wear it yesterday at church. Of course she wasn't very cooperative yesterday and it was a struggle to get her hair done and pics taken but overall I think it turned out pretty cute!!

Car Wash

Today we decided to wash the van. The kids loved squirting the water out of the hose!!

Lucie!

So I am home sick today with the flu. I absolutly hate being sick because I love taking my kids to the park/zoo/wherever. I decided I didn't want to be a complete deadbeat mom today (even though I did put Lucie down for a 10:30 nap so I could take one)and I would sit outside and watch the kids play in between running inside to get sick. I played catch with grant for a little and lucie is trying to master the peddle concept on a bike. The girl potty trained herself before she was 2 1/2, gets completely dressed and undressed by herself, can get anything down from anywhere with just the little push of a chair and some climbing. But she may have finally found her match with the bike. She was on and off it so much and made three outfit changed she finally just put her own helmet on by herself.

A Fun Day

Today at school Lucie and Jayden were playing kitty and puppy so we had them come to my room so I could take a pic. It was adorable



I got off at 1:30 and I decided to take the kids for a walk to a local ice cream. Lucie wanted to take her baby "Baby Lulu" with her diaper bag, and Grant wanted to ride his bike.



The both got a kiddie cone and paid for it themselves.


Luckily for me Aunt Alana saw us walking while she was driving by so my dad dropped her off and she joined us! It was fun, I love Wiscosnins Spring days. It was a perfect day for a walk to the ice cream store!!

Lucie's third birthday party!!

Today Lucie had her family/friends birthday party down at the park. For the second year in a row it has been cold/cloudy and raining on and off. Lucie had a care bear cupcake cake, which was a great idea for a park party!! She was very excited when people came and ran up and hugged them. This is picture is of Lucie walking up the stairs with her cousin Ava.


This year we got a pinata that you had to hit.



Lucie picked out her own cake and she wanted a carebear cupcake cake, which turned out great because it was much easier then a cake at the park!


One of the many presents that my mom got Lucie was a 5 in 1 bath/high chair/crib/everything else with lots of home-made accessories to go with it. One of which was an adorable care bear diaper bag that Lucie loves. Here is Lucie and Ava checking it out!


Once we got home Lucie put on a pair of shoes that she got, they are purple jelly shoe thongs and they are so cute. If you ask her where she got them from she says from her Jayden!


Lucie's favorite present has to be the American Girl doll my mom got her that looks just like her, it has blonde hair and blue eyes!

Golfing on a beautiful day!!

Today is beautiful. We got home from school and the ground is finally dry enough to put Grants golf stuff in the ground. I am not a huge golf person but he loves it!! Mini golf bores me by the 5th hole, but Grant is intrigued by it.

Birthday at school!!

Lucie celebrated her birthday at school and she had a good time!! she made them ice cream cone cupcakes, wore a hat and had a blast!!

Our baby is three!!

So yesterday was Lucie's third birthday. I am a little sad that my baby is three already. She however is thrilled. We found almost every birthday song online and played it for her in the morning. Since her party isn't until next week we decided to take her to the park for a picnic lunch with her best friend Jayden. We took a walk in the woods, had a stick race in the river(where Grants stick got stuck and he had to get it out). Jaydens mom (in honor of Lucie's birthday) dressed him in a pink shirt. So once I took his jacket off and they realized it they hugged and were soo happy. I was also rummage saleing this week and found a "Birthday Girl" shirt that she wore all day. Then we had my parents over for dinner and my sister and her kids over for cake and ice cream. Lucie had a great day!! Her terrible twos are over-I don't know what explains her fit on the kitchen floor yesterday morning, oh well.

Hot Tub Fun!!

Last week my parents got a new hot tub and today we got to enjoy it for the first time!! It was a balming 68 degrees so the kids and I got our suits on and went to Grandma's. The hot tub was really nice. The kids could touch all around the whole thing, they also had fun swimming under the waterfall!! Grant practised his kicking and they both did bobs! I got to relax a little with the jets and the built in radio!! Thanks Grandma!!!
